Dr. Kristopher M. Day, MD, FACS
Dr. Day is a double board-certified, award-winning plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and the only fellowship-trained craniofacial plastic surgeon based in Bellevue. His Ivy League surgical training and craniofacial subspecialty gave him a command of facial bone and soft tissue that few aesthetic surgeons ever acquire.
He is the founder and medical director of Pacific Sound Plastic Surgery, a private practice in downtown Bellevue devoted to aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body. His work spans facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast surgery, body contouring after weight loss, facial feminization, and migraine surgery.
He is also a widely published researcher, a journal editorial board member, and a national educator of surgeons. He pairs that academic standing with a boutique promise: every consultation, every operation, and every follow-up is with Dr. Day himself.

Beyond the practice
Dr. Day is a first-generation college graduate who made his way from a small town to the top of his field. Before founding Pacific Sound Plastic Surgery, he served as Director of Craniofacial Surgery at Marshall University and as clinical faculty at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
He is a certified Operation Smile surgeon and a recipient of its Regan Fellowship, traveling internationally to bring cleft and craniofacial care to children who would otherwise go without it. At home, he is a dedicated father of three.
How he works
Unhurried and individualized: understand the person, explain the trade-offs, and plan toward a result that looks natural and lasts. Every consultation is with Dr. Day, and so is every follow-up, from the first conversation through full recovery.
He operates at Swedish Medical Center and Virginia Mason Franciscan, and at accredited, state-licensed surgical centers, with anesthesia by board-certified anesthesiologists or licensed CRNAs.
