Privacy Policy

Last updated September 3, 2026

This policy describes how Pacific Sound Plastic Surgery (“we,” “us,” or “the practice”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website or contact us through it.

This website and your medical records

This website provides general information and a way to request a consultation. It is not a patient portal, and it is not a substitute for medical care. Protected health information that the practice holds as your healthcare provider is governed by federal and state law, including HIPAA, and by the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices, available from our office. Please do not include detailed medical history in website forms.

Information you provide

  • Booking a consultation: consultations are scheduled through Calendly, an outside scheduling service. When you book, you provide your name, email address, date of birth, the type of appointment you are booking, and anything you choose to write in the optional message field. That information goes to Calendly and to us.
  • Communications: information you share when you call, email, or otherwise correspond with us.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site, we and our service providers may collect usage information such as the pages you visit, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. Some of this uses cookies and similar technologies and runs unless you opt out. Some of it does not use cookies and runs on every visit. The next section says which is which, and the “Your choices” section below has the opt-out control.

If you call us from a number shown on this website, the number you see may be a tracking number that forwards to our main practice line. This lets us understand which parts of our marketing lead people to call. Calls reach the same office either way, and we do not record calls.

Third-party services we use

These are the outside services this website relies on, and what each one receives.

  • Google Analytics measures which pages are useful. It runs on your visit unless you opt out using the control in the “Your choices” section below. If you opt out, it does not run again on this browser. It is configured for measurement only: we do not enable advertising features, remarketing, or personalization in it.
  • CallRail provides call tracking. It swaps the phone number displayed on the site so we can tell which pages lead to calls, and it records the time, duration, and originating page of calls to those numbers. It follows the same rule as analytics: it runs unless you opt out. CallRail has signed a business associate agreement with the practice. Call recording is turned off.
  • Calendly provides appointment scheduling. The calendar is embedded on our contact page and loads when that page opens, so Calendly receives your IP address and the page you came from even if you never book. If you do book, Calendly also receives what you enter in the booking form.
  • Vercel hosts the site and provides first-party analytics and performance measurement that counts page views and load times. It sets no cookies and does not identify you. It runs on every visit and has no opt-out, because it collects nothing that could identify a visitor.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To understand which content is useful to visitors.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Washington consumer health data

Some information you share with us — for example, the procedures or treatments you are interested in — may be “consumer health data” under Washington’s My Health My Data Act. When you contact us or book a consultation, we use what you tell us only to respond to your request and provide the services you ask about. We do not sell consumer health data. Separately, the analytics and call-measurement services described above run on your visit unless you opt out, and they receive information about which pages you viewed on this site and whether a call or a booking followed. We use that only to measure how our own marketing performs. We do not give those services your name or your medical history, and we do not use them for advertising, remarketing, or personalization.

You have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell consumer health data about you, and access that data.
  • Withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of it.
  • Have your consumer health data deleted.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@pacificsoundplasticsurgery.com or (425) 818-8991. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to your appeal in writing. If your appeal is unsuccessful, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov.

How we share information

  • Service providers who help us operate the website and respond to inquiries. These are the hosting, analytics, call-tracking, and scheduling services named above, and they may use the information only on our behalf.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the practice, our patients, or others.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

  • Google Analytics and our call tracking run on your visit unless you opt out. Use the control below to opt out, or opt back in, for this browser. Clearing your browser’s site data resets that choice.
  • Two things are not covered by that choice. Our host’s first-party page-view and performance measurement runs on every visit; it sets no cookies and does not identify you. And the scheduling calendar on our contact page loads with that page, so the scheduling service sees your visit whether or not you book.
  • You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
  • You can ask us to update or delete the information you submitted through the site at any time using the contact details below.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
